AWH has expanded our store and we have joined the Barn Quilt Trail with a Sunflower barn quilt that can be seen from the road!
As usual, Alpacas of Wildcat Hollow breeds and raises top quality alpacas. More info below:
Alpacas of Wildcat Hollow is a great source of information and hands-on experience. We have wonderful Huacaya alpacas with great genetics and friendly dispositions–and they’re halter-trained for the novice or experienced pro.
We offer education, support in husbandry, and farm design.
Alpacas of Wildcat Hollow lies nestled in the scenic Flint Hills on the banks of Mission Creek in eastern-central Kansas. Our farm has a total of 60 acres of land, including our home site and barn lot, paddocks, forest, pasture, and hay fields. We have a new barn with plenty of room for our herd to grow.
Our herd of alpacas includes Blue ribbon breeding females, maidens, Champion herdsires, junior herdsires, and a companion/fiber males. They enjoy daily personalized attention and nurturing and are well guarded by Maremmas, Italian guardian dogs bred to protect.
More information on our Maremmas, click here.
Christmas in the Barn! Come and see us grow!
Our Fall ’14 farm day turned out to be a wonderful sunny day, with just enough chill in the air to make the hot apple cider & Marta’s home made cookies taste great. Leila Gomez Woolley, ( Marta’s cousin) from NY flew in with her grandson, Aki, to help us.
More Pics from the hollow’s farm day “’14” Ed Howe showing alpacas, Autumn Marie face painting, Sandy Warren in Kool Aid dying, & Dylan Wines teaching Ali & friends to needle felt.
